Why we're different: Poseidon’s garden has developed what we believe to be the most effective design for artificial reef construction. This provides an enduring rememberance of a loved ones life through the creation of new life – a rememberance that is truly as timeless as the sea.

Poseidon’s Garden is a distictive alternative to traditional memorial and burial services. The Poseidon’s Garden reef building program provides a dignified, inexpensive way for loved ones to be memorialized while providing a lasting benefit to mankind and our planets eco-system.
Poseidon’s Garden uses a unique process to inter a loved ones cremated remains within an environmentally friendly building block for reef creation.
Each reef block is affixed with a plaque that states the loved ones name and time spent on earth. The reef block is then placed into a “community” of other reef blocks which create a pleasing structure ideally formed to promote reef growth and a refuge for marine life.
Each community structure is carefully placed by divers in a specially designated area permitted for reef construction located west of beautiful Sanibel Island off the gulf coast of Florida.
