Q: I don’t see my favorite [store, restaurant, or other business] listed here. Why not?
A: There are, of course thousands of businesses in southern Florida. In Cape Coral alone, where we are located, there are over 8,000 businesses. Chances are we just haven’t gotten to them. It’s going to take some time for us to visit them all.
You can help your favorite businesses grow by recommending them to us for membership. We give top priority to businesses our website visitors recommend. Simply send an email to: membership@floridamerchantsnetwork.com
Q: How do you decide what places to review for your different features?
A: There are a few ways. Firstly, we are consumers, too, so many of our features are about experiences we’ve had (good or bad) or places we’ve discovered just in our regular day-to-day travels. Other times we might specifically seek out something we think lots of folks might be interested in. Sometimes we talk about things worthwhile that could use a little more publicity. And of course we love to have “what to review suggestions” from our website visitors. Those can be sent to: admin@floridamerchantsnetwork.com
Q: What if I have a review of someplace? Will you publish that?
A: We always welcome business reviews, opinions, and articles of interest from our visitors. All responsible material submitted will be reviewed for possible publication at the discretion of FMN. You can submit material for consideration to: admin@floridamerchantsnetwork.com You will be contacted with further details prior to publication.
Q: If a business is a member of yours does that mean they always get a good report?
A: Absolutely not. We only invite businesses with good reputations to join FMN, but that doesn’t mean that something can’t go wrong from time to time. We tell things exactly as we see them – good or bad, member or not. The difference with FMN is that our businesses WANT to know when there is an issue so they can take steps to correct it.
Q: Can I work for Florida Merchants Network?
